Purchased in 2014, then turned a 40-year-old corner bar into Green, Ohio's craft roadhouse — 32 taps, scratch kitchen, bourbon room worth the drive.
The Corner Bar
Before Caston & Main, there was a quiet corner bar at the intersection of Caston Road and South Main Street that had served the same neighborhood for four decades. Bought it in 2014 — not to preserve it, but to rebuild it from the ground up.
The Million-Dollar Makeover
After a million-dollar renovation, the old watering hole became a contemporary rustic roadhouse — complete with a reclaimed grain silo patio, a dedicated bourbon room, and enough character to earn a write-up in Cleveland Magazine. The bones are industrial; the feel is all neighborhood.
32 Taps, One Obsession
The tap list rotates constantly and leans hard into Ohio craft. Stack that with private barrel bourbons, 100+ whiskeys, and Ohio wine, mead, and cider.
Built from Scratch
Nothing on the menu comes from a bag — the kitchen makes its own brew cheese, rolls its own Brew Yard Balls, and runs a weekly Caston Cut that changes with what's good. The Canton Repository called it "stellar pub grub," and they weren't wrong.
Your New Local
Minutes from Nimisila Reservoir, Caston brings that laid-back energy — live music weekends, a patio built for lingering, and regulars who never quite leave.
